We had a wonderful day with Ivan! We met him as we were exiting the cruise port, not really knowing what we had planned for the day. Ivan chatted with us, gave us a few options for touring Split and we were in.
He was extremely personable and friendly, excellent English, and most of all, clearly loves his home. We drove to the Klis Fortress and Trogir with plenty of time to explore on our own and great info about the sites and life in Croatia in general from Ivan. He took us to the top of the hill to see Diocletians Palace from above and the whole of Split, he got us oriented for a walk through the old town and recommended the best gelateria in town. By the way, we did all this in the comfort of his spotlessly clean, A/C’d Mercedes sedan.

If you are ever in Croatia, I highly recommend using Ivan as your taxi driver and tour guide! 🇭🇷

Ivan is extremely polite, speaks English very well, and is incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of Croatia. In just the few hours we spent with him, we were able to experience and learn so much about the island.

He truly went above and beyond to make our experience special. He even took us to a 150-year-old, family-owned restaurant, where the food was absolutely phenomenal! 🍽️

If we are ever back in Croatia, Ivan will definitely be the first person I call to help us get around and show us more of this beautiful country.

And let’s not forget—you’ll be riding in style in his black-on-black Mercedes-Benz! 🖤🚘
